At Legge Publishing our goal is to lead people to 'The Word!' We publish material that focuses on the very heart of relationships, reconciliation and physical, mental and emotional health.

Our publications are primarily authored by our family founder, Philip J. Legge. The Legge family includes Philip and his wife Mary of over 30 years, along with their four adult children, Priscilla, Elizabeth, Stephen and Lois. They work together in their family businesses in Southern Ontario, Canada.

Philip has been helping people build better relationships with their family and friends for over 30 years. The focus has been the Apostle's writings in the New Testament, which teach us how to be reconciled with God and each other. Philip has written several books, and many courses and articles on creating and building good relationships. The 4 Pillars of Patience, Kindness, Unselfishness and Forgiveness, are considered to be foundational in the reconciliation process.

The books we write and publish are the result of observing and studying the relationship between the Apostles, and the first century Christians. It has been an undeserved honor and privilege to write and publish these books.

We must remember we are all the same, and we all have the same challenges of putting our sinful nature to death, and living a victorious, Jesus-filled life. We pray for the readers of our books, and we ask that you pray for the other readers as well. We pray that we will all be blessed by God, and humbled by God to walk and live in the steps of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Please let us know what your thoughts and feelings are about our books. We are very interested to know how our work has affected you spiritually, and if it has benefited your relationship with God, and with people.

Here on earth we’re just starting to learn about Jesus, and the ultimate price He paid to clear our name, wash us clean, and bring us Home. We’re just beginning to see the length, and the breadth, and the depth, and the height of Jesus’ love for us.

Can we hope to figure it all out? Can we say we understand all of His reasons for coming and dying for us? Is there a way we can return the favour or thank Him enough? No.

One thing we know for certain is that the events of those six hours that Jesus suffered on the cross, and also the love of the Father, and the love of the Lord Jesus greatly surpass the limits of our imagination. We believe that only in Heaven, will we have a mind strong enough, and a heart pure enough to understand His love, His compassion, and His tender-hearted mercy toward us. Yes, us, His children! We, who were once ruined by the fall, now lifted up to the highest Heaven, so that the whole Universe can see His kindness!

And we’re quite sure that when we all get to Heaven… You can fill in the rest...

Below are two of our family's favorite instructions from the Apostle Paul.

“Be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are His dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered Himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God.” (Ephesians 4:32-5:1-2)

“Since God chose you to be the holy people He loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts. For as members of one body you are called to live in peace. And always be thankful. Let the message about Christ, in all its richness, fill your lives. Teach and counsel each other with all the wisdom He gives ... And whatever you do or say, do it as a representative of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks through Him to God the Father.” (Colossians 3:12-17)
